For certain there I things I will miss about DC and the drive I take in every morning for work is one of them. My first few years here I would drive to metro and take a train in. Over time, I found it less frustrating to just driving in. My office so close to 395, that if I came early I would be able to drive door to door without have to drive through town at all. A few years ago though, I found that I could drive through the city without adding much time to my commute (much less crazy then 395). One route I take is right down the National Mall. It has been a real privilege over the years to have such a great commute that allowed me to get pictures like this one.
